Why Teens Classes?

We help Teens create positive experiences, build useful attributes, instil good habits and create a healthy relationship with what their body can do.

We help Teens enhance who they are, by heightening their individual strengths and teaching them to do things they didn’t know they could do

We help build confidence and self-esteem through effort, ability and social interaction.

We want to fuel their future by helping them train smart, realise their abilities, and love what they can achieve

By encouraging dialogue and interaction we help them feel important and connected

We want them to celebrate who they are, what they can do, and where they fit amongst their peers - not focus on aesthetics.

We have a lovely mix of athletic kids and kids who otherwise wouldn’t spend time doing physical activity.
Everybody fits in here! That’s one of our core values.

 

What to expect?

  • 30 mins on non-contact Martial Arts

    This is an incredibly empowering section where our Teens learn to use their body, manage distance, work on timing, rhythm and technique. This allows them to blow off steam and release stress. We gently filter in self-defence principles, equipping them with the knowledge to notice and avoid trouble. We give them the confidence to manage their personal space, as well as interact with others.

  • 30 mins on Strength+Skill work.

    We develop Core, Upper and Lower Body Strength: Chin Ups, PressUps and Single leg strength mainly, at each persons level. Then we have some fun on the Gymnastic Rings or Handstands: an interesting coordination challenge that’s lots of fun!! All of this is made suitable for all levels!

A huge aim here is to have fun while working. The social side of wellbeing is incredibly important to us. We frequently pair the teens up to work together, and the difference it makes is unbelievable!

We have a very safe space here. There is no diet culture, no toxic attitudes. We are very welcoming, encouraging and skilled at building everyone up


HOW TO JOIN

Buy a 5 class pass

As most of our Teens have other hobbies, we know they may not want to train each week. So our 5 class pack offers the flexibility to book in when it suits, and not miss out when they have other things on.
