Tomorrow we have a special class
Putting our spin on The Mighty Mile, our class plan will involve a mile of kick ups (in the studio)
Every single cent raised tomorrow will be donated to themightymile.com
Class price is €20 for everyone*

Dave Hedges mile of kettlebell swings happens tomorrow so our hope is that you can visit that primarily, or this class if not. We are simply helping Dave who spearheads this fund and awareness raiser the last few years.
A few words from Dave below, and then some details on our class plan

Mental and Physical health are inextricably linked.
While we openly talk about physical health, see no shame in seeking medical advice or talking to our family and friends, mental health is still shrouded in shame, misunderstanding and embarrassment.
Our mission as the The Mighty Mile is to use the world of physical health to shine a light on mental health.
We will use our strength to help those weaker than ourselves
We will take on physical challenges to show a physical, tangible struggle reminiscent of the struggle with mental health.
We will use these challenges to raise funds that will be given to carefully selected mental health charities and services.
And together, we can bring Mental Health out from the shadows to a place where it can be dealt with in the most appropriate manner
---- So, we will split into groups tomorrow and perform kick ups based on each persons ability and endurance [Every minute on the minute - Every 2 minutes - Every 30 seconds]
A kick up typically reaches 6 feet long, divided by a mile equals 880 kicks ups
While being a huge challenge, it's a challenge shared
This class will still be split to suit beginners, so please, if you are thinking of coming, come!
Remember that this is not about us
It's for a fantastic cause
After class we will have a wee chat and a big thank you
